GMA-PL Series encoder is a POWERLINK EitherNet interface Cooper-Gear-type multi-turn absolute encoder, with housing Dia.:58mm, Solid Shaft Dia.:10mm, Resolution: Max.29bits, Supply Voltage:5v,8-29v; POWERLINK is a patent-free, manufacturer-independent and completely software-based real-time communication system. It was first presented to the public in 2001 by the EPSG and available as a free open source solution since 2008. POWERLINK uses standard Ethernet components, ensuring the users of the benefits and flexibility of standard Ethernet technology. As a result, the users can continue to work with the same standardized hardware components and diagnostics tools as for the standard Ethernet communication.
